ObituaryNov 29, 1944  OBITUARY: MILTON, MA, Nov.29 – Funeral services for G. Glover Crocker, 67, of 198 Randolph Avenue, Milton and Cohasset, prominent Boston lawyer and trustee, who died Monday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Delano White of 44 Sumner Road, Brookline, were held at 12 noon today at the Storey Chapel, Mt. Auburn Cemetery, with Rev. Charles C. Wilson, rector of St. Stephen’s Church, Cohasset, officiating. Mr. Crocker was a warden of the church for many years.

Mr. Crocker was born in Boston, April 16, 1877, and was graduated from Harvard College, Class of 1899, and from Harvard Law School. His law office was at 50 Congress Street. He was a director of the Plymouth Cordage Company and the treasurer of the Northern Railroad Company of New Hampshire. He served as treasurer of the Massachusetts Charitable Society and on the board of managers of the Home for Aged Women of Boston. After World War I, he made his home at 198 Randolph Avenue, Milton, and spent summers in Cohasset, where he was secretary of the Cohasset Golf Club for many years. He belonged to the Country Club of Brookline and the Union Club. In the last war he worked on food administration and draft board; in this war he has been active as an air raid warden.

He married the former Julia Hutchins of Boston, who died two years ago. He leaves three sons and two daughters, George G. Crocker, Jr., of Boston; William H. Crocker and Lt. Julian Crocker, now in the European area; Mrs. Charles R. Buckley of Geneseo, NY, and Mrs. H. Bowen White of Dover, and seven grandchildren.
