ObituaryApr 21, 2007  OBITUARY: Mrs. Ruby Eleanor Fecteau, 79, of Holland died peacefully April 20, 2007 in Holland with her family at her side.

She was born March 24, 1928 in Holland a daughter of George and Ethel (Shompany) Tice. She married Albert Fecteau who predeceased her on April 23, 1972. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Holland.

During her lifetime she cared for many foster children, and she enjoyed bird watching, reading, crossword puzzles and she especially enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by eight children: Dean Fecteau and his wife Gail of Coventry, Paul Fecteau and his wife Suzette of Holland, Carol Poutre and her husband Denis of Irasburg, Bonnie Bowen of Harvard,Mass; Randy Fecteau and his wife Barbara of Holland, Donna Quinn and her husband John of Norton, Larry Fecteau of Hartford, Tonia Fecteau of Milton, 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and by the following brothers and sisters; Doris Swett of Holland, Robert Tice and his wife Joan of Derby, Earl Tice and his wife Penny of Holland, David Baraw of Massachusetts, a sisters-in-law: Anna Tice of Derby, Arlene Tice of Newport, Eleanor Fecteau of Alexander, Maine and Katherine Fecteau of Conn and by a brother-in-law Dick Fecteau of Richford and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Maurice and Herbert Tice and by a sister Gertrude Daggett.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday April 26, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Holland with the Rev. Don Gerber officiating. Interment will follow in Coventry Cemetery.
