She was born February 5, 1928 in Hartford, VT a daughter of Vincent and Josephine (Royer) Coutermarsh. Lucille graduated from Hartford High School in 1947 before beginning working at the Hartford Woolen Mill. She married Sheldon Bellimer December 2, 1951 at St. Anthony's Church in White River Jct. and continued working at the mill until starting a family. They lived in West Lebanon and White River Jct. until moving to Poverty Lane in Lebanon in 1965, where she has lived since. In 1979 she returned to work, this time at Split Ball Bearing in Lebanon. Lucille has been an active part of raising her grandson since 1985. She retired from Split Ball Bearing, now Timken Aerospace in 1999.
Lucille was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon as well as the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 2571 Auxiliary in White River Jct. She enjoyed crafts, especially knitting, sewing and ceramics.
She was predeceased by her husband, Sheldon, in 1986 and three brothers Ira, Vincent and Walter Coutermarsh
She is survived by a son Ronald Bellimer Sr. of Lebanon; a daughter Patricia Lykens and husband Scott of Swanton, VT; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four sisters Irene Maheu of Wilder, VT, Blanche Jarvis of Norwich, VT, Mary Blackmer of West Lebanon, NH and Anne Johnson of West Hartford, VT as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednsday July 6th at 12PM at Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon with burial following in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Jct.
