ObituaryApr 30, 2000  OBITUARY: Florence E. Petronio 73, of Lake Worth, passed away suddenly on April 27, 2000. Mrs. Petronio has lived here since 1981 coming from Niskayuna, NY. She was born in Medford, MA. to Florence R. and Thomas H. Mahoney on July 7, 1926. Mrs. Petronio was an active communicant as well as a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Lake Worth. She was a devoted and loving mother and wife whom will be missed dearly.

Mrs. Petronio is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, John J; children, Jeanne Marie (Gary) Kraft, Linda (Walter) Davis, John (Taffy) Petronio, Jr., Richard (Elaine) Petronio, Deborah (Pat) Miranda; 11 grandchildren and a great grandaughter; brothers, Thomas H. Paul, Charles, and Joseph Mahoney; sisters, Virginia Fennelly, Jean Clark, and Barbara Edgerly, several nieces, and nephews.

A Mass of the Ressurection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 1, 2000 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6177 Jog Rd., (D9), Lantana. A gathering of friends will be held on Sunday, April 30th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. at the DORSEY FUNERAL HOME, 3325 S. Congress Avenue, Lake Worth, Florida 33461. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Matthew Building Fund, 5417 Fernly Rd., Lake Worth, Florida 33467 or the American Heart Association.
