| Obituary | Jan 23, 1980 | OBITUARY: Suffolk - Emma Inez Jones Speight. 87, died Monday December 31, 1979 in her home at 4980 Deerforest Road. She was a native of Nansemond County and the widow of John Wesley Speight. She a member of Parkers United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Johnny Wesley Speight; and three sisters, Mrs. Virgie Winslow, Mrs. Vera Jones Ward and Miss Mary Helen Jones, all of Suffolk; brother, Paul T. Jones of Hampton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 2, 1980 at 11 a.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by Dr. R. E. Brittle and Rev.
