| Obituary | Sep 8, 2008 | OBITUARY: Kelly Rae Connell, age 37, Laconia, N.H., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at her home in Laconia, from heart problems of which she endured for many years. Kelly was born a daughter to Catherine Knapp Berry and Dale Simpson in Littleton, N.H. She graduated from Lisbon High School and received her Master's Degree from Johnson and Wales University. She was employed by Engraving Awards Gifts in Laconia. She spent all her spare time with her daughter, Piper, whom she adored. Surviving family members include her husband, Marcus Connell and her daughter, Piper Raye Connell of Laconia; her mother, Catherine Berry of Landaff, N.H; her father, Dale Simpson and Fayone, of Colebrook, N.H; her brother Craig and his wife, Heidi of Lyman, N.H., and their four children; her grandmother, Bertha Knapp of Landaff; her step-father, Wally Berry of Lisbon, N.H; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, at the Shared Ministry White Church on Main Street in Lisbon, at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Lyn O. Winter officiating. Burial services will be private for the family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kayrae Memorial Fund for the benefit of Piper Raye Connell, to any Laconia Savings Bank, or mail to Laconia Savings Bank, 62 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
