She was the widow of the late Ora Morse Huntoon. Upon his retirement as a Vice President of the Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., they moved from Wellesley to Palm Springs, CA, where they resided for 16 years. Subsequently, they moved East again to Williamsburg, VA. When widowed, Mrs. Huntoon returned to New England, moving into North Hill, where she has resided for the last twenty-eight years. An active church member, Mrs. Huntoon conducted an extensive one-on-one ministry that involved individuals all over the United States and international for more than 70 years. She was often called to address church groups throughout North America. A dedicated supporter of higher education she enabled many young acquaintances to complete their education at, among other institutions, Dartmouth, Harvard, and Phillips Academy Andover.
