ObituaryFeb 27, 2010  OBITUARY: RICHFORD – Lawrence “Larry” Bert Bosley, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning, February 26, 2010 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. He was born October 12, 1933 in Eden the son of the late Walter & Mable (Corey) Bosley. He began his working career with the railroad, he then worked for the Highway Department for the Town of Highgate, and finally worked for O.C.McCuin’s in Highgate where he drove truck and worked in their garage, retiring in 1974. He enjoyed traveling, shopping, fishing, hunting, watching his birds going to county fairs, tinkering on all kinds of things and watching NASCAR with his favorite driver being Ryan Newman. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Machia) Bosley of Richford. They were married on September 29, 1979. He is also survived by his sons, Larry Bosley and his wife Etta of Richford, and Jerry Bosley and his companion Connie Mills of Barton; his daughter, Loretta Byers and her husband Michael of Richford; his step children, Mabel Messier and her husband Richard of Richford, Joann Young and her husband Artie of Richford, Michael Corwell and his wife Robbi of Sheldon, Brian Corwell and his companion Wendy Bova of Richford, and James Corwell and companion Margaret Reynolds of Highgate; 33 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; his sister, Doris Sartwell of Richford; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Walter Bosley; his mother, Mable Bushey; his daughter, Vicki Bergeron; and his sister, Viola Jenne Funeral services will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will take place in the spring in the Sheldon Village Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 Am until the hour of the funeral at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg Falls For those who wish, contributions in Lawrence’s memory may be made to American Diabetes Association, 7 Hegeman Ave., Colchester, VT 05446
