He enlisted in the Army on February 4, 1943 in Rutland, Vermont. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a lumbermen and also was Single, without dependents. Edward was "Killed In Action" during the war and was awarded the Purple Heart. Service # 31253709 ----------------------------------- EDWARD DEUSO, 22, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Deuso, Black Falls Road, Montgomery, was reported killed in action in Italy, May 21, according to news received in a telegram from Washington.
