She was born in Barre, VT on June 13, 1932; the daughter of Clifford and Leona (Abbott) Bell. She had been a longtime Claremont resident. She was a member of the American Legion Post 29 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo player. She married Julian Albert Whitcomb on June 25, 1949 in Barre, VT but they later divorced. She married Richard L Laber on September 24, 1977 in Williamstown, VT who preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons Randy Hannah of Conway, SC, Richard Whitcomb of Conway, SC, Albert Whitcomb of Hartland and Clifford of White River Jct, VT; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers Ronald, Lawrence and Nelson Bell; and nieces and nephews.
