ObituaryJun 11, 2014  OBITUARY: WEST COXSACKIE – Gertrude E. "Trudy" Ruland, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Kaaterskill Care Center in Catskill. Born in Oakland, CA on August 3, 1921, she was daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Brailler Osborne, and wife of the late Ralph E. Ruland, her husband of 60 years, who predeceased her on February 18, 2006. Trudy was raised in Oakland, and the family summered in Tolovana Park, Oregon. She came to Greene County upon her marriage and resided in East Durham for most of those years, and the last 10 in Bethany Village, West Coxsackie. Trudy was a devout Episcopalian and communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Greenville.

Survivors include her children, Ralph "Rick" Ruland (Candace), and Lynn Tanner (Joseph); one brother, Thomas F. Osborne; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
