ObituaryJun 7, 2007  OBITUARY: GEORGIA - Mrs. Mabel Mae Durack, age 75 years, died early Wednesday morning, June 6, 2007, at her residence on Old Stage Road, surrounded by a loving family.

Bor n in Sheldon, Vt. on Nov. 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Fay Sr. and Gertrude (Ledue) Corwell. She attended schools in Highgate and was married to Hugh M. Raymond, who predeceased her in 1951. On Aug. 30, 1953, she married Garland Durack, who predeceased her on Jan. 30, 2001.

Prior to her retirement in 1996, Mrs. Durack had been associated for 17 years with the Food Science Corporation in Essex, Vt. In earlier years, and while living in Fair Haven, she had been associated with Polino's Florist. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Mrs. Durack leaves her four children and their spouses, Hugh and Jean Raymond of Milton, Edwin and Colleen Raymond of Bomoseen, Judy and Daniel Coppins of Cambridge, Ohio, and Richard and Kelly Durack of St. Albans; grandchildren, Carrie Raymond and companion, Ryan Hammond of Fairfax, Amy Hilder and husband, Pete of Hampton, N.Y., Jennifer Raymond of Bomoseen, Christopher Coppins and wife, Elizabeth of Fairfax, Ashlee Coppins of Cambridge, Ohio, Alicia McQuain and husband, John of Cambridge, Ohio, Stephanie Racine and husband, Jim of Milton, and Steven Durack of St. Albans; a sister, Betty Brooks of Glasgow, Ky; and two brothers, Roswell Corwell of Germany and Wayne Corwell of Sheldon.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Durack was predeceased by a son, Arnold B. Durack; and brothers, Fay Jr., Richard and Edwin Corwell.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 11 a.m. from the family lot in the East Franklin Cemetery. The Reverend Jason McConnell will officiate.
