ObituaryMay 23, 1998  OBITUARY: SHELDON SPRINGS - Florence I. Tipper, age 72, widow of John Tipper, died Friday May 22, 1998 at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mts. Tipper was born September 21, 1925 in Sheldon, the daughter of Charles and Mary Louise (Shepard) Domina.

Mrs. Tipper was a resident of Sheldon most of her life and was a member of the Sheldon United Methodist Church. Florence was devited to her family and especially lover her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband, lind and Dale Peddle of Berkshire Center; a sep daughter and her husband, Betty and Robert Machia of Highgate; one sister and her husband, Leona and Lawrence Tipper of Sheldon; five grandchildren and thier spouses, Carol and Shawn Gibney, Linda Billado, Roxanne and Mark Combs, Robert and Vikki Machia, and Peter and Judy Machia; nine great-grandchildren, John Billado, Nicholas Gibney, Adam Irons, Erica Combs, Jamie, Aaron and Kayse Machia; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by four sisters, Irene Sweet, Georgianna and Ellen Tipper and Evelyn Lowell, and a brother Francis Domina.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 at the Sheldon United Methodist Church with Rev. Maggie McClarey Laird Officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheldon Village Cemetery.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. at the Spears Funderal Home of Dickenson Ave. in Enosburg Falls.
