ObituaryOct 9, 2019  OBITUARY: Heather Ring Henault, 63, of Sugar Hill passed away peacefully on Monday October 7 at her home following a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Schenectady, NY on October 25, 1955 she was the daughter of Laurence Ring and Jeanne (Aldrich) Ring of Sugar Hill who predeceased her.

Heather attended Northeastern University for one term before transferring to the University of Vermont where she earned a BA in sociology. Upon graduation Heather returned to Boston to work including time at a non-profit child care agency. In 1987, she came to Sugar Hill to join her parents who had retired and relocated to her mother's childhood hometown. She worked for many years at the Littleton office of Granite State College (formerly CLL). During this time she obtained her MBA from Plymouth State University. She later worked in the registrar's office at Lyndon State College and most recently as an administrative assistant at Common Ground in Littleton.

Heather will be sorely missed by her husband of 16 years, Jeffrey Henault as well as her stepchildren Whitney Henault of North Woodstock, Christian Henault and his wife Hannah of Etna and Lauren-Sydney Henault of Littleton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her sisters Babette and husband Larry Smith of NY and Lauren and husband Barry of MD.

SERVICES – A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at 10:00 AM in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Sugar Hill with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating. A gathering will follow at the Dutch Treat Restaurant on Main Street in Franconia, NH.
