| Obituary | Jul 12, 2015 | OBITUARY: ST. ALBANS/ BURLINGTON - Roberta K. LaPlant, 70, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015, with her family by her side in St. Albans Health & Rehab Center. She was born on Oct. 30, 1944, in St. Albans, the daughter of Norman H. and Phylllis A. (Pattee) Shepard. She was a graduate of Fanny Allen Hospital School of Practical Nursing and worked at the Bishop DeGoesbriand Memorial Hospital. She was later employed with the Burlington Savings Bank and the Key Bank before her employment at Carlson Wagonlit Travel Service. She married Richard LaPlant on Aug. 29, 1964 in Burlington, Vermont and is survived by two children. She was predeceased by her brother, John Shepard. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Avenue, Burlington.
