| Obituary | Jul 15, 2006 | OBITUARY: FRANKLIN - Eleanor M. Corey, age 79, passed away Friday morning, July 14, 2006 at the Haven Health Care Facility in St. Albans. She was born June 23, 1927 in Keene, New Hampshire the daughter of the late Charles and Ella (Stone) Oliver. Eleanor was a resident of Franklin most of her life. She had worked in her early years at a canning factory in St. Albans. Most of her adult life she took pride in being a homemaker and caring for her family. She also enjoyed watching soap operas. She is survived by her children, Ernest Corey and his wife Doreen of Franklin, and Joyce Christian and her husband Ron of Montgomery; her grandchildren, William Corey and his fianc'e Renee Kane, Michelle Linsley and her husband Rich, Linda Sochia and her husband James, Laura Machia and her husband Michael, Lisa Larose, and Amanda Larose and her fianc'e John Wagner; her great-grandchildren, Destiny Larose, Michael, Jade and Christina Linsley, Haley Corey, Seth and Tyler Sochia, and Matthew Machia; a sister, Barbara Loiselle of St. Albans; two brothers, Robert Oliver and his wife Yoko of Wichita, Kansas, and Rolland Oliver and his wife Norma of St. Albans; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William Corey; and two brothers, Charles and Bertram Oliver. Funeral services will be held Monday July 17, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls, with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. Interment will follow in the East Franklin Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.
