ObituaryJun 14, 2005  OBITUARY: ST. ALBANS CITY / SWANTON - Anthony Keith Duprey, 57, a resident of 139 South Main St. in St. Albans City and a native of the Swanton and Highgate Springs areas, died Monday morning, June 13, 2005, in the Haven Health Center in St. Albans Town.

Born at home in Highgate Springs on June 28, 1947, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Warner) Duprey.

He attended Swanton Public Schools and for over 20 years worked at the former Champlain Cable Company in Colchester. He most recently has been associated as a groundskeeper for the Champlain Country Club in Swanton.

Tony leaves four daughters: Melody Barratt, Tina Lapan and her husband, David, Holly Therrien and her husband, David and Ruth Hazard and her husband, D.J; and a brother, Gene Duprey and his wife, Hilda, all of Swanton; six grandchildren: Crystal Gordon, Kyle and Nathan Lapan, Samantha and Christopher Therrien and Justin Hazard; as well as several nieces, nephews and many special friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2005, at 11 a.m. from the Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Father John J. Meagher, SSE will officiate. Interment will follow in the Duprey family lot in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.
