ObituaryFeb 10, 2012  OBITUARY: Westminister, Vt.- Frances P. Thomas, 97, passed away February 9, 2012 at Pine Heights of Brattleboro. Frances was born March 16, 1914 in Newport, Vt. the daughter of Clayton and Veda (Dane) Parker.
She graduated from Newport High School in 1935. In 1957 She moved to Westminister where she was active in the St. J. Ladies Club, Westminister Mothers Club, and the Westminister Congregational Church.
She is survived by one sister, Gretchen, her daughter Mona and her husband Clifton Bailey of Berlin, Vt.: son Winston and wife Laura Thomas of Brattleboro: 7 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, son Philip (Sonny), 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
At her request, there will be no service. Burial will take place in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport.5
