ObituaryFeb 24, 2003  OBITUARY: MONTGOMERY -- Grace B. LaFlam, age 88, widow of Gale M. LaFlam, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans. She was born Jan. 12, 1915, in Frelighsburg, Quebec, the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Prive) Godin.

She was a resident of Hartford and Enfield, Conn. for 25 years where she was employed at Grants Department Store retiring in 1980, and moving to Montgomery Village that same year. She made her home at Our Lady of the Meadows and Ave Maria in Richford since November of 2000. She was a member of Ladies of St. Therese and St. Anne Club. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 12 of Richford.

She is survived by three brothers, Henry Godin and his wife Geraldine of Montgomery Center, Albert Godin of Springfield, Mass. and Leo Godin of Orange, Mass; one sister, Bertha Hart of North Troy; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Cordelia Allain, Gladys Fecteau and Theresa Smith.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 at St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Montgomery Center with Reverend Frank Eksterowicz celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be this spring in All Saints Cemetery in Richford.

Visiting hours will be held this afternoon from 2 to 4 at the Spears Funeral Home, 96 Dickinson Ave., Enosburg Falls.
