She was born in St. Albans, Dec. 9, 1941, daughter of the late Euclide and Florence (Barkyoumb) Magnan. Her natural, gentle loving started at home with her brothers and sisters and eventually led her to a nursing career. On Aug. 17, 1963, she married George Boissoneault and from then on dedicated her life to caring for family, friends and neighbors. George and Mary operated large dairy farms in Fairfax and later in St. Albans Bay. Mary was also instrumental in many other endeavors, including a flair to remodel and decorate. Along with the unconditional love for her family and friends, was her passion for music. She shared her talent as a member of Holy Angels Choir, Morning Glories, Grammas and Grandpas, and any other opportunity she had to express herself through song. Mary loved being with her family, whether it was sharing time at camp, vacations, family gatherings or just having them around. She was always the first to volunteer her time and many talents. She spent many hours as a volunteer counselor for the Family Center and Parents Anonymous. Because of her creative ability, Mary took on many family and community projects. She was sought out by many and was always there. She opened her home to everyone and made them feel welcome. Besides her husband, George, of over 42 years, Mary is survived by her five children, daughters Cheryl Lupien and her special friend, Scott Moreau, Michele and her husband, Michael Bruso, all of Fairfax, sons Jeff and his wife, Tammy Boissoneault of St. Albans Bay, Jason Boisson-eault and his special friend, Justine Kinerson, of Fairfax, Joshua Boissoneault and his special friend, Christian Deso, of St. Albans Bay; her pride and joy, eight grandchildren Erica, Jordan and Jacob Lupien, Amilia Rothwell, Ben and Carl Bruso, Cody and Mynah Boissoneault; her seven brothers and sisters and their spouses, Barbara and Larry Young, Donna and Roger Meunier, James Magnan, all of Fairfax, John and Elaine Magnan of St. Albans, Gerald and Debra Magnan of Chateaugay, N.Y., Terrance and Joanne Magnan of Sheldon, Katherine and William Considine of Georgia; many nieces and nephews.
