ObituarySep 26, 1975  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG CENTER – Ralph A. Royea, 52, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon, September 25, 1975, at a St. Albans hospital as the result of a fall last Friday, Sept. 18, 1975.

He operated the Green Mountain Tree Surgeon Co. of Enosburg. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a former resident of Salem, Ohio, and a member of the Eagles in Salem.

He was born in Sutton, Que., June 24, 1923, the son of Carl and Myrtle (Little) Royea.

He leaves his wife, Irene (Smith) Royea; four sons, Richard of Johnson, N.Y., Ralph Jr. and David of Salem and Michael of Enosburg Center; a stepson, Larry Wilkins of Champlain, N.Y; five daughters, Mrs. Edward (Debra) Kibler of Enosburg Falls, Mrs. Donna Roberts, Miss Karen Royea, Miss Lori Royea and Miss Cheryl Royea of Enosburg Center; four brothers, Arnold of Fairfield, Gerald of East Enosburg, Eric of St. Albans and Robert of Suffolk, Va; one sister, Mrs. Harrison (Madeline) King of Richford; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday, September 27, 1975 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Enosburg Falls with the Rev. Raymond Mason officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in the North Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, 14 Orchard St., Enosburg Falls, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
