ObituaryDec 16, 1988  OBITUARY: BARTON – Carrolll S. Billado, 61, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, December 14, 1988, at the Copley Hospital in Morrisville.

He was born in Enosburg March 24, 1927, the son of the late Herman and Avris (Clark) Billado. Mr. Billado was a resident of Enosburg most of his life and for the last seven years made his home in Barton. He was employed as a foreman at the Sundown Construction Corp. of Stowe. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion Post No. 28 of North Troy and VFW Post No. 9653 of Morrisville.

He is survived by his former wife, Doreen (Mason) Billado; three sons, Carroll Jr. of Irasburg, Douglas of Richford, and Daniel of Swanton; five daughters, Mrs. William (Avis) Ingalls of Irasburg, Mrs. John (Jeanie) Bryce of Fairfield, Mrs. Rene (Barbara) Beauregard, and Mrs. David (Kathleen) Marshia, both of Enosburg, and Mrs. Tom (Lisa) Lefebvre of Goldsboro, NC; one stepson, Pvt. Michael Mason of Atsugi, Japan; a brother, Orrson Billado of Barton; 28 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor (Lackey) Billado and two sons, Richard and Timothy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, 1988, at 10 a.m. at the Spears Funeral Home on Dickinson Avenue in Enosburg Falls, with the Rev. Edward Hackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Missisquai Cemetery I Enosburg with full military honors. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home in Enosburg Friday from 222 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For those who wish, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 2821 Shelburne Road, Shelburne, VT 05483.
