ObituaryJul 5, 2001  OBITUARY: WEST BERKSHIRE -- Patrick C. Lamoureux, age 72, died Tuesday afternoon, July 3, 2001, at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Aug. 24, 1928 in Enosburg Falls, Vt., the son of Lillian (Lafley) Lamoureux and the late Joseph I. Lamoureux.

He was a resident of Berkshire most of his life and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post #42 of Enosburg Falls. He was employed at A. Browns in Enosburg Falls for 35 years, retiring in 1989. Following his retirement he was employed by the Town of Berkshire until 1991. He enjoyed hunting, Bingo, bowling and collecting and repairing clocks, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Celia "Rose" (Mosier) Lamoureux of West Berkshire; two sons, Charles Lamoureux and his wife Linda, and Joseph Lamoureux, both of Berkshire; two daughters and their husbands, Marshia & Herbert Dudley, and Cynthia & Brent Lussier, both of Enosburg Falls; his mother Lillian Lamoureux of Enosburg Falls; nine grandchildren, Stacy & Chad Dudley, Jamie & Jessie Lussier, Margo, Meghan and Patrick Lamoureux, and Heather Lamoureux & Joseph Lamoureux, Jr; one brother and his wife, Paul & Dorothy Lamoureux of Berkshire; five sisters, Joan Kane and her husband Herman of Berkshire, Helen Armour of Enosburg Falls, Grace Jones and her husband William of Essex Ctr., M. Susie Ewins and her husband Richard of Berkshire and Margaret Elkins and her husband Michael of Montgomery; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joseph Lamoureux, Sr. in 1989, a brother Joseph Lamoureux, Jr. in 1961, a granddaughter, Julie Ann Lussier in 1980.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Enosburg Falls with Rev. Gerard Leclerc celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
