He is survived by his wife, Gertrude (Sandman) Shover; five sons, Gilbert, Donald, Alex and John, all of Richford, and Roy Shover of Omaha, Neb; four daughters, Emily Deuso and Gloria Shover both of Richford, Shirley Supernault of St. Albans and Geraldine Paquette of Enosburg Falls; one brother, Charles Shover.

The body will remain at the Powell and Comings Funeral Home until the hour of the funeral Wednesday at 2 at the Methodist Church. The Rev. George Miller will officiate. Burial will take place at the Hillside Cemetery.
