ObituaryMar 9, 1982  OBITUARY: THOMAS P. FLANAGAN, 70, died Monday morning at the Northwestern Medical Center.

He was born in St. Albans July 24, 1911, son of the late Bernard and Josephine (Senecal) Flanagan. He was employed in the Maintenance of Way Department of the Central Vermont Railway and by Fonda Container Corp.

He was a member and past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 297 and the Fourth Degree Assembly and was a member and past president of the Central Vermont Veterans Association.

He is survived by his wife, Adelle Flanagan of St. Albans; three daughters, Mrs. Alan (Kathleen) Paquette of Miami, FL; Mrs. John (Mary) Brooks of St. Albans and Mrs. Raymond (Shirley) Cota of Essex; three sisters, Mrs. Eileen Rivers, Mrs. Beatrice Ovitt and Mrs. Mabel Pelkey, all of St. Albans; a brother, Charles Flanagan of Grand Rapids, MI; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral High Mass will be offered Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church. Friends may call at the Driscoll and Moran Memorial Home, 158 N. Main St., Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Spring interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. T. J. Moran is the funeral director.
