He was born Aug. 28,1949 in Newport the son of Claire(Kenneson) and the late Charles K. Young.he was employed at Columbia Forest Products for 9 yrs. He served in the United Stated Navy and held membership with the American Legion Post #21 in Newport and the V.F.W. in Lyndonville. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by a daughter Erika Poutre and her husband Matthew of Derby; by his mother Claire of Newport; by his sisters Doreen Wing and friend Amos and Diane Young, all of Newport;and by Debbie Lane and her husband David of Fort Smith Ark. he also leaves several nieces,nephews, aunts and uncles.He was predeceased by his father Charles K.Young on July 15, 1997.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. Aug. 16 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport with the Rev. Roger Flatcher officiating. Full military honors will be held.
