ObituaryAug 1, 2007  OBITUARY: GEORGIA/ST. ALBANS - Gladys A. Benoit, 93, a resident of Georgia for forty-six years and more recently of St. Albans, passed away early Saturday, July 28, 2007, at the Northwestern Medical Center.

She was born in St. Albans, Vermont on July 30, 1913, the daughter of the late Charles A. Revoir, Sr. and Sophia (Minor) Revoir. She was married to Everoy N. Benoit, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1955.

Gladys graduated from Bellow Free Academy in St. Albans, Class of 1933. She and her husband operated a farm on Route 7 and prior to moving to Georgia, operated a farm in Swanton. She retired in 1978, as a clerk for the former M.H. Fishman, Co. Gladys enjoyed sewing, reading, her grandchildren and until the age of ninety- one, her independence. Survivors include her son, William D. Crocker of Georgia, her grandchildren, Todd Crocker and Jonathan Crocker both of Georgia, Russell Crocker of St.

Albans, Stacy Baker and her husband, Jeremy of Rutland and Amy Bennett and her husband, Adrian of Lenox, Massachusetts, her great-grandchildren, Tommy and Laurel Baker and Solomon and Isaiah Bennett, a cousin, Beverly MaGuiness of Bow, New Hampshire and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Gladys was preceded in death by her daughter-inlaw, Donna J. Crocker on January 28, 2005, and her siblings, Charles A. Revoir, Jr., Irma Henry, Marion Revoir and Gertrude Revoir.

At Gladys' request, a graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007, at 11:00 a, m. at the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery on South Main Street in St. Albans. The Reverend Charles Kuthe, Pastor of the Georgia Plain Baptist Church will officiate.
