MONTPELIER, May 23 -- Fred H. Morrill, 78, died Saturday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Farnham 9 1/2 Berlin St. He was born in Starksboro, May 1, 1878, a son of George and Amelia (Liberty) Morrill. On Nov. 25, 1902, he married Lillian Liberty of Royalton. She died in 1921. Mr. Morrill, who had been in failing health, had lived with Mr. and Mrs. Farnham here for the past year. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Farnham of Montpelier, Beatrice Morrill of Albany, N.Y., and Mrs. Amelia Farnham of Moretown and one son, Melvin Morrill of Montpelier; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
