ObituaryMay 22, 1967  OBITUARY: SCOTT A. WRIGHT, 89, died Saturday morning at his home following a brief illness.

Mr. Wright was born in Glen Sutton, Que., Oct 11, 1885, the son of the late Hyland and Naomi (Record) Wright. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post 12 of Richford, VT and a resident of East Richford, VT for the past 25 years.

He leaves three sons, Raymond E. Wright of Puerto Rico, Clifford A. Wright of East Richford, and Sidney M. Wright of Hartford, Conn; four daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Sybil) Fecteau of East Richford, Mrs. Ida Mae Burnham and Mrs. Lynwood (Cora) Steinhour Sr. of Richford and Mrs. Rene (Charity) LaVoie of Lawrence, Mass; two brothers, Lewellyn Wright of Newington, Conn. and Orlin Wright of Hartford, Conn; three sisters, Mrs. Elson (Edith) Deyett of Sutton, Que., Mrs. Lawrence (Flossie) Carpenter of Manchester, Conn., and Mrs. Albert (Charity) Curtis of Hartford, Conn; 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The body is at his home where friends may call. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 at the First Baptist Church, Richford, with the Rev. Edward P. Brinkman officiating. Interment will follow in the family lot in East Richford Cemetery. American Legion Post 12 of Richford will conduct military committal services. Spears Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
