| Obituary | Jul 11, 2005 | OBITUARY: EAGLE BRIDGE, N.Y. -- Ivan M. Casavant, 71, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, at the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation in Bennington, Vt. He formerly lived on Route 22 in Eagle Bridge. He was the husband of the late Frances (Tessier) Casavant. Ivan was born on Sept. 30, 1933, in Enosburg Falls, Vt., son of the late Kenneth and Ila (Sever) Casavant. He was educated at schools in Vermont and worked at the Valley Feed Company in Johnsonville as the plant manager. Ivan was a former member of the Bennington Eagles, St. Stanislaw Society in Hoosick Falls and the Hoosick Falls Country Club. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Connety of Salem and Debbie Seney of White Creek; four sons, Gerry Casavant of North Hoosick, Ivan Casavant Jr. of Buffalo, James Casavant of Florida and Larry Casavant of Eagle Bridge; a brother Keith Casavant of Orleans, Vt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a son, Terry Casavant. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
