ObituarySep 6, 2000  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG/SHELDON — Antoinette M. Dragon, age 89, widow of Nelson Dragon died peacefully Monday morning, September 4, 2000 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Richford July 15, 1911, the daughter of Leon & Delia (Couture) Piette. Antoinette had been a resident of Enosburg most of her life, and for the past 2 years made her home in Sheldon with her daughters. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Ladies of St. Anne. She was also housekeeper for Reverend Gavin Maloney in Enosburg for several years. For the past 2 years she attended St. Anthony's Church in Sheldon.
She is survived by a son, Raymond Dragon and his very special friend, Laurie Chaloux of Bakersfield; three daughters and their husbands, Teresa & Allison Stanley of St. Albans, Rita and Wilfred Minckler and Rose and Ronald Longe, both of Sheldon; one brother, Omer Piette and his wife, Mable of Enosburg; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildrden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 great-granddaughters, Jessica Little and Rosanne LaPlant; 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Interment will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Sheldon.
