ObituaryDec 10, 2015  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS – Dorothy E. Lawyer, age 87, passed away Tuesday evening December 8, 2015 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Enosburgh on September 20, 1928 the daughter of the late Lyman & Ethel (Lawyer) Dudley.

Dorothy was employed at the sewing factories in Enosburg Falls and Richford and the Hockey Stick Factory in Richford. She enjoyed to read, doing crossword puzzles, watching the Lifetime channel as well as other T.V. shows, camping, playing darts, snowmobiling, baking and flowers. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and their families.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Lawyer and his wife Joan of Swanton, Connie Curtis and her husband Earl of Alburgh, Donna Casavant and her husband Jim of Hardwick, Lyman Lawyer and his wife Karla of Enosburgh, Candice Combs and her husband Stephen of Richford, Michael Lawyer and his fiancé Kelli Peters of Richford, and twins, Jeffrey Lawyer and his wife Kim of Enosburg Falls, and Jacqueline Garrow and her husband Robert of Malone, NY; her Grandchildren, Tina Gilbeau, Terry Noyes her fiancé Eddie Paquette, John Marchessault and wife Gill, Tony Marchessault and wife Eva, Lisa Maskell and husband Dennis, Bobby Tanner and wife Roxanne, Lyman Lawyer Jr., Travis Lawyer and wife Elizabeth Pieciak, Stevie Combs Jr. and fiancé Amanda Mayhew, Casey Combs and significant other Phillip Kittell, Travis Lawyer and wife Destiny, Krista Brown, Kirsten Lawyer and fiancé Curtis Brown, Amber Lawyer and partner Ben Wright, Keshia Lawyer and partner Cody Sheltra, Jeffrey “J.J.” Lawyer and partner Alex Gover , Jeremy Brunton and wife Tonya, Shannon Labarge and husband Clarence, Alison Garrow and Christopher Garrow; and many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren; step grandchildren, Tim Curtis and wife Rebekah, Amee Curtis and husband Tyler, Andrew Curtis, Stephanie Curtis, Nedah Warstler and husband Ben, Ben Peters, Amy Peters, Amanda Peters her partner Andrew Ouinette, Mary Grennan, Aspen Ladue & Gage Ladue; her Siblings, Donald Putnam and his wife Gretchen, Myron Dudley and his wife Esther all of Highgate, and Cathy Robarge and her husband Keith of Richford; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her grandchildren, Timothy Tanner & Cher Combs; step grandson, George Brassill; grandsons-in-law, Louis Gilbeau & Keith Noyes; her brother, Lynwood Dudley; and twin sisters, Margaret “Maggie” Rivers & Marjorie Wynn.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Hill West Cemetery, West Hill, Montgomery. There will be no visiting hours.
