| Obituary | Jan 17, 2014 | OBITUARY: MONTGOMERY - Michael J. Elkins, age 69, passed away Thursday January 16, 2014 at his home with his family at his side. He was born January 21, 1944 in Montgomery the son of the late Clayton & Josephine (Green) Elkins. He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Maggie" (Lamoureux) Elkins of Montgomery; son, Clay Elkins and his partner Guillermo Barrantes of Boston, MA; daughter, Kelly Maxfield and her husband Kevin of Johnson; grandchildren, Emma Roger, Michael & Jonathan Maxfield; his sisters and their husbands, Maxine & Warren Farrar of Richford and Janice & James Adams of Fairfield; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his sister, Deanna Carr. In keeping with Mike's wishes there will be no funeral service or visiting hours.
