| Obituary | Aug 19, 2002 | OBITUARY: Milford, NH - Mrs. Beverly I. Newcomb, 64, of 26 Melendy Road, died Saturday August 17, 2002 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Nashua, NH. Mrs. Newcomb was born January 29, 1938 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Charles and Isabelle (Gallagher) Huntoon. She attended the Belmont Schools. She lived in Lowell, Massachusetts for several years before moving to Milford a year ago. For many years she was manager of the Veterans Home in Lowell, Massachusetts. Mrs. Newcomb was an avid bingo player Survivors include six sons, three daughters; two sisters. She was predeceased by a son, Daniel Gouveia in 1994 and by a brother and sister, Charles Huntoon, Jr. and Hazel May Huntoon. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from noon until 2 PM at The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Funeral Service will follow calling hours at 2:00 PM, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family lot in South Road Cemetery, Belmont, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
