| Obituary | Oct 11, 2005 | OBITUARY: SUFFOLK, Va. - Carmen Rountree Hilton, 85, a native of Gatesville, died October 8, 2005. She was the widow of Thomas E. Hilton Sr. Mrs. Hilton retired as a registered nurse with the OB Ward at Portsmouth General Hospital. Survivors include two sons, Thomas E. Hilton Jr. of Suffolk and L. Ralph Hilton of Sunbury; two sisters, Virginia Leigh Snipes of Chesapeake and Helen Marie Taylor of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Robert Lee Rountree of Camp Springs, Md. and Herbert D. Rountree of Gatesville. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Greenlawn Mausoleum Chapel. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel is in charge.
