ObituarySep 29, 1943  OBITUARY: Belchertown, Sept. 28 – Donald T. Holcomb, 40, of 11 Bond Street, Bondsville, died at Springfield today after a short illness. He was born in Belchertown, April 7, 1903, the son of Hattie (Ballou) and the late William J. Holcomb. He married Reita Marie Pierce of this town September 7, 1935, who survives him. He also leaves three children, Donald, Marie and Norma; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Holcomb of this town; three brothers, Frederick and Charles of Bondsville and William of Amherst; three sisters, Mrs. John Naglesmidt of Oswego, N.Y., Mrs. Robert Fraser of Medford and Miss Irene Holcomb of this town. The funeral will be held in Belchertown tomorrow, Sept. 30, 1943, and will be private. Rev. Horatio F. Robbins, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery, this town.
