ObituaryMay 28, 2011  OBITUARY: James H. "Jim" Webb, Jr., age 84, of Mathews, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011, following a long illness.

He retired after 38 years of Civil Service from the Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. Jim was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Survived by his wife, Erma Hudgins Webb; two daughters, Joy Drummond (Jim) of Cobbs Creek, Jill Webb of Newport News; two grandchildren, Kara Royall (Hunter) of Dutton, Timothy Drummond (Victoria) of Richmond; brother-in-law, Ronald Beaubein of Indiana; many nieces and nephews also survive.

The family received friends Sunday, May 29, 2011, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews.

Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in Bethel United Methodist Church, Onemo. Burial followed in Milford Haven Cemetery, Moon.

Memorials may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1581 Garden Creek Road, Mathews, Va. 23109 and/or to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
