ObituaryMar 27, 1999  OBITUARY: CEDAR GROVE -- Mr. Curtis Long Bradsher, 75, of 8801 Wilkerson Rd., died Thursday at Alamance Regional Med. Center. He was born in Person Co., a son of the late Daniel and Ola Roundtree Bradsher. During WWII, he served in the Army and was retired from Piedmont Electric Corp. Curtis was a charter member of the Grace Independent Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Veleria Mae Horner Bradsher; two sons, Fred Long Bradsher, Creedmoor, and Ted Lane Bradsher, Timberlake; one daughter, Dorothy B. Hurdle, Prospect Hill; two sisters, Marjorie B. Wilson, Hurdle Mills, and Odell B. Porterfield, Burlington; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Grace Independent Baptist Church in Prospect Hill by Rev. Chip Sellew and Rev. Tommy Willis. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and two nephews. Visitation was held Friday at Brooks & White Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Grace Independent Baptist Church, N.C. 86 North, Cedar Grove, N.C. 27231.
