ObituaryJun 22, 1999  OBITUARY: BURLINGTON -- Mrs. Odell Thomas Bradsher Porterfield, 84, of 218 Adams Street, died June 20, 1999 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after an short illness.
She was a native of Orange County, NC., the daughter of the late Daniel Rascoe Bradsher and the late Leola Roundtree Bradsher and wife of the late John Henry Porterfield.
She was an retired employee of Eaton Manufacturing, Roxboro, NC., and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Prospect Hill, NC.
Surviving are 4 sons, Larry Monk of Mebane, NC., Carl Monk, of Gibsonville, NC; Don Monk of Graham, NC., Bryant Monk, of Roxboro, NC; 1 sister, Mrs. Margie Wilson of Hurdle Mills, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel, Mebane, NC. conducted by Reverend Art McGahan. Burial will be in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery, Prospect Hill, NC. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane, NC.
