ObituaryFeb 6, 1942  OBITUARY: Mrs Williah W. Howard, 87, widow of Captain Abiel A. Howard, died last Friday night at her home on Main street. She had been ill a long time. Mrs Howard, a daughter of Mr and Mrs William Wixon, was born in West Dennis. After her marriage to Captain Howard she lived in this village for awhile, then moved to East Boston, where the couple resided about 25 years. They returned to South Yarmouth in 1922 when Mrs Howard's husband retired. Captain Howard died 13 years ago. Surviving Mrs Howard are two sons, Allen F. of West Dennis and George W. of Somerville, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the home al 1 p. m. Monday. Burial was in West Dennis.
