| Obituary | May 24, 1961 | OBITUARY: Mrs. Charles A. Frost, 78, the former Susan Belle Matson and a resident of Dorset for some years, died at Lampman Nursing Home Tuesday afternoon. She had been a patient there since March. The daughter of Fayette and Rose Tifft Matson, she was born in Dorset Aug 10, 1882. Her schooling had been received in Dorset. Her husband died several years ago. For the past nine years, Mrs. Frost had made her home in South Shaftsbury with her niece, Mrs. Earl Towslee. Survivors are three sons; William F. Frost, Vernon, Vt; Charles H. Frost, Putney; Leon W. Frost, Brattleboro; one brother, Charles H. Matson, Dorset; four grandchildren. The funeral will be held from Mahar & Son Funeral Home Thursday at 2 pm with the Rev. A.J. MacDonald, pastor of South Shaftsbury Methodist Church, officiating.
