ObituaryNov 10, 2011  OBITUARY: Eleanor Mae, "Tillie" McCormick, 89, of River Road, died peacefully late Tuesday night, November 8, 2011 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with her family by her side following a brief illness. Tillie was born at home in Hinsdale on October 31, 1922, the daughter of Roger and Margaret Burke Streeter. She was raised and educated in Hinsdale graduating from Hinsdale High School with the Class of 1940. She had worked at the former J.E. Mann Store on Main Street in Brattleboro for several years. Tillie was also a devoted homemaker whose life centered around her family.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Hinsdale. Committal Rites and burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Parish Cemetery.
