Mary Jane Snow, daughter of John and Abial Snow was born at Brewster, Massachusetts on 25 September 1824 and died at 90 Blossom St., Fitchburg, Massachusetts on 30 Mar 1901. She was born in the John Snow house described under John Snow. She taught school at Brewster. She married Rev. Otis W. Bacon when she was 22 years old. She was visiting her older sister Phebe Ann Smith in Erving, Massachusetts when she heard the Rev. Bacon preach at a church in Orange. They fell in love and were married and he became pastor of a church in Brewster. He died there of pneumonia at the age of 26 and was buried there. He was born in Conway, Massachusetts".
"On 12 January 1850 Mary Jane married HEZEKIAH ANDREWS 3378, who was born on 26 May 1822 and died in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on 26 May 1895. Mary Jane Snow was a remarkable woman. She was extremely active and had excellent business ability and was a real help to her husband in his store at Conway. Aftr his death in Fitchburg she maintained the home at 90 Blossom St., living with her unmarried sister-in-law Cynthia Olivia Andrews".
