ObituaryJun 26, 1957  OBITUARY: Ira Orlando Willard was the son of John E. Willard and Sarah J. Ware (or Weare). Inez and Ira were married on September 9, 1905 in Norwich, Vermont. Ira was working as a miller at the time of the wedding. The couple lived in Norwich until at least 1911. When Ira registered for the United States draft for World War I in 1917, the family lived in Dalroy, Alberta, Canada. Ira was working as a farmer in Dalroy; he registered for the draft at the US consulate.

By 1930, the family had relocated to Keene, New Hampshire. Ira worked as a clerk in the United States Post Office.
