I cannot locate death records for either Alexander or Mary Valentine, nor marriage record of Alexander (son). Therefore, I checked on the United States websites, and found a family in Alameida California in 1910 who emigrated from Scotland, have the same names, along with similar birth dates who I believe are this family. These include Alexander Valentine (age 33), Mary (age 32) and Alexander (age 9). Alexander and Mary had been married for 10 years. The family immigrated in 1907. Alexander worked in a hardware store.8
