ObituaryApr 13, 2007  OBITUARY: Julius Ray Dobbins, 82, of Cobb County died Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Medford-Peden Funeral Home in Marietta, with the Rev. Tommy Lockhart officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Plains Baptist Church Cemetery in Marietta.
A native of Lowndes County, Miss., Mr. Dobbins served in the Navy and Army during World War II. He retired from Lockheed.
Survivors include two sons, Shayne Dobbins and Jeff Dobbins; two daughters, Wanda Muran and Cindi Dobbins; one brother, Eugene Dobbins; seven grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
