ObituaryDec 25, 2021  OBITUARY: Sharon Sue Crispen, 62, of Macy passed away at 6:25 PM on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Duke’s Memorial Hospital.

On November 8, 1959, Sharon was born in Brunswick, GA to Burrell L. and Patsy Ruth Hodges Boatwright.

Growing up, she shared her childhood with two sisters and a brother.
Sharon was the parts manager at Mike Anderson’s of Rochester. In her free time, she enjoyed painting with acrylics. Being very handy, she was very accomplished with sewing, quilting, crocheting and baking. Having a green thumb, her flowerbeds, strawberry garden and her fruit trees were always plentiful. Her love of nature was shown to others with her photography. As an equestrian, she rode atop Buzzsaw through the countryside. Throughout the day, she could often be found enjoying a glass of iced sweet tea.

Left to cherish the memories of Sharon are three children: Mitch Thornton of Macy, Amanda Barnes of Denver, Kathy Schlosser of Rochester; 11 grandchildren: Miranda, Antonio, Taylor, Jacob, Haley, Brooke, Curtis, Katlynn, Bo, Shane, Mason; two sisters: Patsy Ruth Heisey and husband David of New Oxford, PA, Wanda Gail Boatwright of Vidalia; brother, Burrell L. Boatwright Jr. of Brunswick, GA; companion, Dave Bandelier and his loving family; and Charlie the seal brown Pitt.

Preceding Sharon in death are her parents, grandparents: Nancy E Hodges, Thomas Hodges, Francis and Bernice Crispen; and her quarter horse, Buzzsaw and Pitt Bull Buddy.
