ObituaryJan 21, 1988  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS, VT – Mrs. Marguerite “Peg” Garrow, died Wednesday evening, Jan. 20, 1988 at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans following a long illness.

She was born in Montreal, Quebec, on Oct. 31, 1914, the daughter of Herbert and Alice (Willett) Fortin.

Mrs. Garrow had been a resident of Enosburg most of her life and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. For several years, she was employed at the Wrights Dairy and then at Spears Pharmacy for 12 years, retiring in 1978.

She is survived by her husband, James Garrow; two sons, David and Brent Garrow, both of Enosburg; one brother, Herbert Fortin of St. Albans; one sister, Mrs. Bernard (Carolyn) Brieter of Ormond Beach, Fla., a son-in-law, Harry Newell of Richford; five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jan Newell, in 1985, and a sister, Lois Miller.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning Jan 22, 1988, at 10 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Lucein Duquette celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spears Funeral Home, Dickinson Avenue, Enosburg Falls, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Father Duquette will say payers tonight at 8. For those who wish, contributions in her memory may be made to the Enosburg Ambulance Service, care of Richard Brodeur, Enosburg Falls, VT 05450.
