He leaves his wife, Helen (Dickey) Barnes; a son, Clifton Barnes of Ohio; a daughter, Priscilla Hubbard of Montgomery, Mass; two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Home, 305 State St., Springfield, Monday, April 1, 1991, at 10 a.m. Calling hours are today, 2-5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assn.
