ObituaryMar 2, 1956  OBITUARY: ENOSBURG FALLS, VT, March 1, 1956 – Mrs. Gertrude Cantell Bullis, 73, died at a Burlington hospital today after a brief illness.

Mrs. Bullis was born in Montgomery Jan. 30, 1883, the daughter of the late Eli and Matilda Domey Cantell.

Besides her husband, Basil Bullis, she is survived by three sons, Alan Garrow of Middleton, Mass., Linwood Garrow of Chico, Calif., and James Garrow of Enosburg Falls; three daughters, Miss Margaret Garrow and Mrs. John Pomeroy, both of Enosburg Falls, and Mrs. S. J. Itzstein of Bryn Mawr, Pa; one brother, Luther Cantell of Westville, Mass; two sisters, Mrs. Belle LaPlante of Worcester, Mass., and Mrs. George Downey of Springfield, Mass; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The body will remain at Spears Funeral Home, Enosburg Falls, 14 Orchid St., where funeral services will be held Sunday, March 4, 1956, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wesley T. Logan officiating. Friends may call Friday and Saturday evenings. Spears Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
